Who We Are
Apostle Lazerick Jackson Sr.
Senior Pastor Elect
Apostle Jackson answered the call to preach in 1999 in Monroe, Louisiana, where he faithfully served under the leadership and spiritual covering of his grandfather, Rev. Benjamin Lyons. In this foundational season, his preaching gift was nurtured, his character was refined, and his commitment to the Kingdom was firmly established. Under his grandfather’s guidance, he learned the values of humility, discipline, and unwavering devotion to the work of the Lord.
As time progressed, Apostle Jackson transitioned to Austin, Texas, where his ministry journey deepened. There, he served under Pastor Richard E. Carter at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. During this period, he attended seminary training under his pastor’s teaching, further strengthening his theological understanding and sharpening his ministerial skills. His years in Austin were marked by spiritual growth, academic preparation, and a deepening of the prophetic and apostolic mantle upon his life.
Today, Apostle Jackson serves with distinction as Pastor Elect of Antioch Empowerment Church, where he leads with passion, integrity, and a heart fully committed to God’s people. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, he is the dynamic Overseer of the KDFI Southwest Region, providing spiritual covering, mentorship, and strategic guidance to affiliated churches. His leadership inspires ministries to grow spiritually, physically, and mentally—rising into the fullness of what God has ordained them to be.
With an impressive 26 years of preaching experience, Apostle Jackson embraces the Word of God as the guiding principle for every aspect of his life and ministry. His preaching is marked by clarity, conviction, and a deep reverence for Scripture. His apostolic voice brings strength, direction, and empowerment to congregations and leaders alike.
